They are not called Dream Team now they was called Dream Team in the 1991 Olympics.... cause they comprise the best players of basketball that time... USA is really good in basketball they have the best players.... but other countries do have much more better players..... The USA made basketball they play it every day... just like you Brazilians you are good at soccer you also play it everyday.... and thanks for admiring basketball its very great....

know what? americans are good in basketball..not good but great!!!great individual talents...BUT!!!watch out!!!everybody is catching up!!!see what is happening to the olympics and world championships of basketball. they're losing! in 2000. they almost lost. Since 2002, they never won. Who won? Serbia Montenegro, Argentina and Spain. These are not Americans. So the admiration should look deeper. Not only the individual skills but the team aspect. Naismith made basketball as a team sport and not one-on-one. Who knows? in 20 years, USA might not eve qualify for the Olympics or WBC. Hehe.. Hey Brazilian guy, Barbosa is good man!

The USA International team is no longer called the "Dream Team". It was called the "Dream Team" in 1992 and 1996 because our Olympic teams were comprised of some of the best NBA basketball players of ALL TIME, even when they were playing.
Jordan, Bird, Magic, Malone, Stockton, Pippen, Shaq, etc... depending on the years.
Now things are a bit different, with a bunch of superstars who don't know how to play on a team. Team USA looked MUCH better these past Worlds, thanks to Coach K. Soon enough, they'll become a "Dream Team" of their own.

because americans basically play baskettball day in and day out when they're playing sports when they're young...in brazil the main sport most kids play is soccer thats why we're known to be the best at it...
