OK you are in luck I have a great website you can go to and it will give you all the information on it. You have to get Combat bait gell it usually runs around $10. Then you get calk and close and plug EVERY hole and crack in the walls of your house. Then you get just regular roach spray to keep on hand and spray the corners of your house 3-4 times a day. It will take about 3-4 weeks but you will be completely roach FREE once you do this. I had this problem did this and have been roach free for 2 years in an apartment building. And let me tell you what I am not suzy home maker I leave dishes in my sink and the whole nine. I have cats and they have food out. But if you are good and tidy and clean every night before you go to bed for about 3-4 weeks it will pay off! I got all this from the site listed below.

Sprinkle boric acid behind frigdethat nd stove and into cracks and wallos - or make your own bait =with powdered sugar, boric acid, and fat- like margarine or lard - use equal amts of the 3 ingredients- on a lid so the floor or cabinet does not get greasy- make enough to put in cabinets- at baseboards and where they may hide or come out- the roaches will come and eat and die-keep away from pets and children- make sure there are no other crumbs they can get to- seal up flour and dry goods- D

I find that the raid roach traps in the disc form work wonders, even the generic brand work well. Just place them everywhere you find roaches. And soon no more roaches and all you do is clean up whats left of them. Aslo I find that Boric acid powder mixed with sugar left out in a bowl or lid of some kind really kills them too. Keep all of these item out of the reach of children and pets because they are known poisons.

two things that might help ... they both helped me after my neighbor was so kind as to spray for his roaches without warning me and the little buggers moved into my house ...
they sell a cockroach paste which is ment to put one their trails .. under your counters or anywhere they may be walking my son had other ideas for it and actually placed the paste on the backs of as many cockroaches that he could catch ...( that was SOO gross but hey he was 17 at the time ..lol )
Would you beleive in less then 24 hours there was NOT a roach about ... it worked they took it back to the nest ...
the next is to take a coffee can place fill it a 1/3 full of water and something stinky .. rotten meat bacon fat etc .
place it out of the way .. like under your kitchen sink .. then dump all the dead bugs out or repeat as needed .. cheap and easy ...

I had the same problem, and what i found most effective was simply squashing them.
I would wait till dark, when everything is quiet and they are out, and turn the light on suddenly and squashed them all, sounds crazy, but i dont have a roach problem at all anymore.
Also sparying surface spray in the small cracks and corners around the kitchen helped to keep them from laying eggs there.

Best way is to thoroughly clean your home, this is essential to ensure that when you spray there is nothing not a single crumb for them to find inviting, then have it sprayed and follow that by placing cucumber skins in areas they like to be, under the fridge, back of cupboards etc. Refresh these fortnightly ow weekly, cockroaches hate something in the skins are will look for alternative accommodation where there are are none.

You can buy a device for less than thirty pounds that will plug into any wall socket and emit a high pitch burst that humans cannot hear, but the little critters just hate! Don't worry, it won't affect babies or pets. Unless you have a pet gecko or something.

there are roach baits you can buy off the shelf. The roach will be attracted to it and eat the contents and eventually they will die slowly..

Boric acid , it is very effective when used properly for killing
cockroaches and most other insects.
You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk
