Here is my team:
Starting:
QB- Drew Bledsoe
RB- Larry Johnson
RB- Frank Gore
WR- Anquan Boldin
WR- Marques Colston
WR/TE- Antonio Gates
K- John Carney
D- Broncos

Bench:
QB- Alex Smith
RB- Warrick Dunn
RB- Maurice Jones Drew
RB- Micheal Turner
RB- Leon Washington
WR- Braylon Edwards
WR- Drew Bennett
WR- Matt Jones

Do you think I should make a trade to upgrade my WR's. I was thinking about offering Dunn, Gates, and Edwards for Plaxico Burress and Terry Glenn. I'm just affraid Gore won't hold up, but my back-ups aren't too bad either. Heck I'll probably start Turner this week. I think I may be over-analyzing everything and stuck in a rut. All my fantasy co-herts are out of town, so I turn to you guys. Any opinions?

I think I responded to a question from you earlier this week. lol

Well first off why do you have 4 bench RB? Drop one and pick up a WR off the waiver wire. You have good starters in gore, Dunn and Johnson and don't need three backup RB's. Keep Drew and one of washington or turner and rop the other for a WR.

Secondly drop Bennett. His numbers are poor and won't get any better with vince Young at QB. Young is a running Qb who will probably not surpass 200 yards often so don't expect any big games from Bennett. I would say look for another WR or QB off the waiver wire.

Thirdly Matt Jones is hurt so keep an eye on him. He hasn't been a factor yet and with such a crowded WR core (Wilford, Williams, Jones) as well as Taylor and Jones Drew, his numbers probably won't be all that high, especially with the groin injury right now.

As for the trade its a definite don't do it. You would be giving up a starting top 12 rb in dunn as well as a top WR/TE in Gates and a very good WR in Braylon Edwards for a minor upgrade if that.

I think you can probably get Glenn for Gates straight up in most leagues and that could be a better trade but i would definitely not get rid of the package you are thinking of offering.

As for starting turner this week. Don't do it. Turner is good but not great and is still a backup to the best RB in the league. while I don't like the matchups for your rb's (Lj vs Pitt and Gore vs SD) I think Gore needs to start and LJ or Dunn need to start. I really think LJ gets held intact by the Steelers this week but definitely he is still a better play than Turner.

I think you would be losing your depth for not much of an upgrade at WR. Edwards will be a stud receiver before the end of the year. He has had 2 long ones called back that should be padding his stats already, and he is working well with Frye. Gates is just starting to get some chemistry with Rivers. Plaxico, on the other hand, seems to be having some personal issues with the coaches in NY, which is never good.

The only hole that you have right now is Qb. If you are going to trade for anything, I think Qb would be your one weakness.

If you trade Gates, get a good QB not WRs. He is way too valuable, and Bledsoe cannot be helping your cause. But if you are afraid of Frank Gore not holding up, you could easily get 2 decent WRs for him as he has had such a stellar start to the year.

You should try hard to get better at QB, someone that seems to be in a lot of trades this year is Palmer, if you offered Gates, Dunn and Bledsoe, you could get Palmer and a decent wide out with out a problem! Give it a shot
