I can but the people who asked it get annoyed because they think im being a smart alec but most of the time i don't realise its a rhetorical question then they act annoyed with me. What's a girl to do????????

rhetorical question - something put as a question so that it sounds dramatic, not to get an answer,eg 'who cares?' (=nobody cares.)
