weeellll, i guess the best series of books i have ever read is the harry potter books, all of which just keep getting better as time goes by. However i am also a HUGE fan of the princess diaries series, which, although wouldn't fall into the category of literary masterpieces, do however provide temporary , lighthearted reading.

Lord Of The Rings. The collection series not the normal one. I didnt read finish it because the language was getting tougher and tougher but i still choose it as the best book because it is the only set of books that i find challenging when reading it.
