I like Daniel because you can call him Danny and I like James because it's nice and it's my daddy's name.

My son's name is Daniel. I think its a cool name. I also like James, too.

I like the name Daniel, I wanted that one for my son, but my husband didin't. Although it is in the top ten right now, so there will be a lot of Daniels. James is my son's middle name, so I like that!

I named my son James so I really like that. He's 3 and lately we've been calling him Jamesie which seems really cute.
I like Daniel too, but I don't love that it has the "IE" double vowel thing going on. I'm not sure why but I don't care for that. It is a really nice sounding name though!
I love traditional names so I think both choices are great.

My dad's name is Daniel and my FIL's name is James (not kidding) so we gave our eldest son the middle name Daniel James. I like them both they are traditional, sturdy male names.

I have a personal attachment to Daniel..hubbys middle name. Also u can shorten to Danny and its cute. James is OK too.
