There's alot of good films in his repertoire. I think the opening salvo of Saving Private Ryan is as good as a war film gets. Having said that, Schindler's List is more than just a war film and comes from a different angle. I must say Duel is also a great film that is under-rated and was his first big film. However, my number 1 Spielberg is his big, big breakthrough film...Jaws. Awesome characters with quality interplay between them. Add into that a massive "Carcharodon Carcharias" and the film is possibly the best film of all time, not just Spielberg!

Every Spielberg's film is special and most of his works will leave a novelty or a strong experience that will linger onto you for a long time. Matter of fact, he can be an English teacher too.. he taught us the meaning of Extra-Terrestrial , Poltergiest, Jurassic, Arachnophobia.. etc. But amongst all his respected work... I rate Jaws to be most frightening, Jurassic Park as most awewome, Saving Pte Ryan as most complete, Munich as most Adult... and Close encounter of the 3rd kind as most believable.. hey.. dun you just sometimes look up the skies and expect something...?
