I think they are on their way out, but depending on the style you can still wear them this season and be right in style. I like the little bolero style jackets for evening to throw over a strapless dress. "Short over long" is still pretty hot so layer your shrug over long tanks and camis---even babydoll tops and dresses. Shrugs have been around a few seasons now, so I'm thinking they have had their day and next year might be considered "so last year" by the fashion elitists--- DAMN them all! LOL I wouldn't invest in new ones but anything you already have---sure! :)
