Yep thats def right approx 2 weeks before the next period is due is the most fertile time, grab your self a test the day your period is due and see what happens they are very spot on now even on the first day the period is due. Good luck

Oh dear. If you have a regular cycle you have just had unprotected sex right whn you should be ovulating. There is a high chance you will conceive. If this is not something you wish to happen go to a sexual health clinic and get a morning after pill, you can take it up to 72 hours after the intercourse took place, it's also available from the pharmacy under the name "Levinelle". SHould you wish to take the pill you must do it as soon as possible to maximise its effectiveness.

If you do not wish to take the pill, then you have to wait untill the day you should come on to take a home pregnancy test. Some brands claim they can detect earlier than this, up to 4 days earlier, but the first day is the best as if you get a negative result by this time you can be fairly sure its a true result.

I hope things turn out ok for you.

Cazza answered very well!

I just wanted to give one more alternative to the pill and to choose to wait until you could take the test.

That´s the "copper coil" (an inter-uterine contraceptive device, which a phycisian puts in the right place). Usually that is not the first line choice of contraceptive for women that have not yet given birth, but since it mechanically will prevent the zygote from fixing to the uterus (-> pregnancy) up to five days after the unprotected sex, it could be an alternative in cases like theese.

You can get pregnant at any time if you have unprotected sex! If you do not want to take the chance of being pregnant, go to your doctor and ask for the morning after pills (72 hours). Perhaps he can help you with any queries you have on birth control too. Good luck.

If you've had unprotected sex then... YES you could be pregnant! Whatever time of the month you have sex! Dont have unprotected sex if you dont want a baby or numerous std's.

Yes that is your most fertile time.
You can still take the morning after pill, it works for up to 72 hours.

Believe me you can get pregnant. The only certain way not to get pregnant is to put a cork in it and hold a bottle with your knees.
