Not if you are to believe that the rest of the world hates America.
Since they are developing nuclear arms and showing them off in n. korea's case that would favor the conservative party since they are the ones that would protect America from attack. If they hated America and it's direction they wouldn't be flexing their muscles so that America wouldn't need protecting then the voting public might choose the liberal party.

The link below will show the history of weakness in the democrat party when it came to protecting America

It wouldn't be the first time Iran was successful in influencing our elections. Maybe you can recall the Iran-Contra affair. That was when members of the Republican party who did not have the authority, went ot Iran and traded arms for hostages. A deal was made with the Iranians to have the American hostages released as soon as Reagan was inagurated.

Basically, a shadow government set up by Republican operatives made illegal foreign policy deals with Iran. There's nothing new about the idea of Iran influencing our elections. Also keep in mind that over the last few years, the US had neutralized the countries on Iran's borders: Iraq & Pakistan. Shia muslim (mostly centered in Iran) influence has spread since the start of the war on terror. It has travelled from Iran, along a northern crescent to Syria and to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

So if Bush is your Enemy then Iraq and North Korea are actually helping you?? Yeah I think there's some truth to that. Nobody on the planet likes Bush outside of the United States Republican Party pretty much. Terrorists had a surprise for us just after we elected the son of one of Bin Laden's most hated enemy. British Parliment is calling to pull troops out of Iraq, I'm sure the timing of that move is politically motivated. Are you offended that people outside of our contry have a say in who our world leader is or that none of them are rooting for your team?

S. Korea is just a small poor country who has a very tiny loud mouth leader. Iran has an arrogant, the same type of leader. Let them do each other in, if they will. I don't think they are that smart, and just want to flap their mouths. If they got into it with us, they would soon not be there, and we would have shut up the arrogant little runt who runs the place and keeps all the money for himself. Keep it up, and the Chinese will march their billion men army over there and shut him up.

North Korea and Iran had nothing to do with the elections. The politicians are just trying to connect the issues connected with said countries to favor their party's interests and platforms.

WOW. What a piece of crock. Where do you pull these ideas out of? So you are preparing to lose and now blaming it on Iran and N Korea? Also the way the republicans are functioning, looks like they are the anti-American lot.

Not intentionally, but in the long run, yes they are. Osama and other European countries would certainly like to influence our elections but I dont believe they have figured out how to go about it in a way to have more than an influence of perception. The news media appears to have sided with Democrats: instant news favor Democrats because it's about personal perception; informative news favor Republicans because it's about a reasoned perception.
