The Id, Ego, and Super Ego are structural classifications invented by Sigmund Freud. The Id has to do with primitive impulses such as sex or violence. The Super Ego can be thought of as a type of judge for situations to tell you what to think of certain situation. The Ego houses your own individuality...

Very briefly, the Ego is the 'self' that you perceive and are more or less conscious of. The Id is the animal inside you, it wants things like food and sex in abundance. The Super Ego kind of reconciles the other two. It is the captain of your ship that makes sure that the other two operate in balance. There, a totally non-professional answer! A Psychology textbook might be better.

The id, ego, and super-ego are the divisions of the psyche according to psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud's "structural theory". The id contains "primitive desires" (hunger, rage, and sex), the super-ego contains internalized norms, morality and taboos, and the ego mediates between the two and may include or give rise to the sense of self.

It means that there's a constant fight between your primary instincts (id) and moral rules/values (superego). Id and superego are like enemies and they're always trying to manipulate our Ego. When we do what we want without thinking too much, id wins. When we measure the consequences and we do what we believe to be the right thing, superego wins.

Technically speaking I haven't a clue. However I shall endeavour to lift this cloud from above you by suggesting that just as "beauty is in the eye if the beholder" then one's opinion of onesself may be along the same lines so to speak. So there you have it, the best answer from a non expert, just what the doctor ordered, wasn't it????
