I believe that some people are, in fact, more logical than others. They may demonstrate this quality by finding the root cause of problems, solving complex issues and finding the opportunity for growth and/or advancement in situations that others may not. Logic can be a very powerful tool for an individual when faced with a problem and/or challenge. However, being human, most people feel a surge of emotion whether it be sadness, anxiety or the urge to prove oneself, first when faced with a challenge before the ability to utilize the logic sets in. Humans are emotional creatures. And I truly think that although logic can be a very powerful tool, emotion will always be the stronger of the two. Imagine a parent who's child was in danger. The child could be in any situation no matter how dangerous, and thinking logically, the parent may not be able to come up with a solution for helping the child. However, because of the emotion involved, that parent (or most) would never walk away or give up on the child. That parent would do anything, however illogical, to reach the child and to help. Based on my experience, I believe that emotion is the more powerful of the two.

Emotion is powerful since it comes tsunami and drowns one. It creates a healthy bond if the emotion is positive but if its not then it can be destructive rather than being creative.

While Logic can explain certain things in right perspective but not everything though it tries to explain everything logically but there are certain things in life and situations where all logic fails. Life is not logical but supra-logic.

Hence emotions are powerful than logic.

emotion is more powerful then logic, because without it human race wldn't here where it stands today.

Emotion has always pushed human a step forward where logic defied us, for the matter take the example of space travelling, logic said it was impossible, it was just sheer emotion that pushed us to get out in space tht made it possible

In order to move you?

Logic has no power as an engine, it's a tool to better travel once you're in motion. But it requires emotion because it requires that something makes you use it.

Considering that emotion, to one degree or another, is inate in every human being, while the great majority of humanity wouldn't know logic if it bit them in the a s s and wouldn't understand how it works afterward, my conclusion is that emotion is the more powerful.

Logic dictates that we forgive and forget. It is very easy to perform and injustice on someone. Fundamental religion is not very tolerant of competitive ideas. Logic dictates that we forgive and forget and prosper in spite of transgressions against us. Emotions always demands a pound of flesh, or more for perceived injustices. Emotions do not deal with the reality of the situation, but the perceived reality of the moment.

It depends on the individual.

Some people have psychological disorders which stops them feeling a lot of emotion - in their case the answer would be "logic". Some people are just plain stupid - in their case the answer would be "emotion".

There is no straight answer to this question.

Both should be considered and used in all contexts. Why? Think about it. The world is a place of opposites and yet these opposites can somehow co-exist and even brings much more good than when both are seperated. It's basically a yin-yang thing, a give or take philosophy which should be the backbone of any foray into strictly arguing about anything which are of equal advantages and disadvantages. It's simply a case of one supporting and and complementing the other.
