As far as I remember, leptons are the smallest quantum particle, so presumably they are the smallest thing around - not that you care, you just wanted to get that lame "spider's balls" line in.

The largest thing in the world is probably a California Redwood Tree. They can get almost as tall as 400 ft. and i have seen pictures of a redwood's trunk being made into a tunnel for cars to go through. And the smallest thing in the world is either a proton, a neutron, or an electron. These 3 things make up atoms, which makes up everything in the whole entire universe that is matter.
