to oldguy: I feel similar. I have stopped 2 weeks and smoked one just 5 minutes ago. My loungs felt heavy, my veins feel like full of poison and my mouth has a bad taste. I guess it has to be over, I don't want to smoke anymore...I wonder what should be good about that. Its nothing but poison, drug...

when i took a drag off my last cigarette, my lungs screamed in pain. i put them down and never picked them up since. that was 20 years ago.

...no, I was too much of an addict. If I smoke one, I go buy a pack. I've been off of nicotene for 6 years at the end of this month! I smoked for 20 years, and it took me ten of those twenty to quit! If you can get away with it, it's better for you than smoking all the time. Good luck!
