When My dogs get shown we use very finely rolled leather slip collars special made from white leather as to blend in with dogs fur and not distract from color of dogs. We also use same type of leads very finely rolled white leather. Rather then worrying where to get collars and leads, I would worry more about the right stance and stacking of the dog. and just when to stop and begin. I Love to See Junior handlers handle dogs but they have be taught what to do and what not to do by their parents whom are handlers or another professional handler. You can not just jump in to the ring with a dog and expect to win. With 4H showing you can use most any collar and lead and can get them a pet store or feed mills, or tractor supply. Mine I pay a ot of money f or cause they are leather. For Julie and Bobbie L, there are plenty of professional handlers out there that are also the breeder and owner. That is why they say when announcing Breeder, owner, handler. You both need to get info correct before opening your mouths
