so much cord

so little space

one little neck just waiting there.

and how is a mother to be supposed to stop worrying about her baby being hung by the umbilical chord

sorry so graphic but i was just wondering

The umbilical cord is almost like a garden hose that is turned on. Do you know how hard it would be to knot a garden hose that is running? It is actually pretty hard to do.
This is the way it was explained to me by my Doctor.
It made me feel better anyway!

think about it this way...an umblical cord is not long enough to really get tangled up.Not only that but a fetus is too small and not developed enough for the cord to strangle it in any way.

well as i was saying...i cant belive im talking about fetuses...
when a fetus experience tension/discomfort it will try to aleviate that discomfort by moving in a manner that will reduce its discomfort...and why do u want to know this>? lol
