YOU CAN USE DOLLARS AND EUROS BUT THE BEST EXCHANGE RATE FROM STERLING TO EGYPTIAN POUNDS . THEY EXPECT TIPS AND YOU WILL NEED TO PREORDER THE POUNDS, I WOULD TAKE SOME STERLING AND CHANGE IT OVER THERE AT THE HOTEL. ITS ABOUT 10 EGYPTIAN PONUDS TO 1 STERLING.

Im nearly sure its the Egyptian pound but there is "piastres" aswell which is a fractional monetary unit in Egypt.
