Most often when someone tells me a touching story...I'm a sucker for those. Or something 'chilling' in the sense that it's odd or out of the ordinary, strange coincidences, etc.

sometimes in the very dark I get goosebumps. It could be fear of what I don't know, maybe a ghost or a spirit of the night

Its homeostasis, it helps turn your body back into normal stable conditions. When your body is cold it causes goosebumps to make you shiver to stay warm, when your hot it opens up sweat glands to cool you off.

I get them every time I watch a good, touching love scene in a chick flick.

I'll get goosebumps usually during the scary and frightening and creepy parts of a real good thriller.....ie)Have you checked the children???.........just telling you this gave me goosebumps!!!!!!!!!
