You are totally correct. Sadam Hussein must be released immediately to clear off the mess the Americans/British have made of Iraq.
He is now tried for allegation of contributing of killing the 182 people in his country.
Bush and Bliar have already killed 655.000 people of other nation. Who should then be tried for genocide?
The two B's must stand trial in the Hague soon.

Saddam went wrong when he decided that Kuwait was ripe for the taking.
lets not forget either the murdering of his own countrymen .
yes he kept peace as a murdering dictator .
we should let the iraqis split the country into equal parts and pull all the american and british troops out now and then let them get on with it.

If we can release that murdering b*stard Mandela then we should release Hussein! After all this trial is an utter sham! It wouldn't be allowed in the west........And even the 'poofter hippy brigade' would not stand for this type of trial for anyone at Guantanimo!!

Granted he kept the Iraqi's under control by a system of absolute terror. I am afraid that people tend to get the government they deserve....
However his crimes against humanity are just too huge for them to be ignored.
On a personal level ( to me at any rate), he had the family of a friend of mine assassinated. In Jordon no less. Not even his own country's boundaries stopped his revenge.
Seeing what it did to her and her family I could never forgive him enough to see him released.
And what about the Marsh Arabs and the Kurds?Do they deserve to get him back to finish what he started?Because that is exactly what he would do!
The invasion of Iraq without the wit and wisdom to carry it off successfully was certainly a disaster of a magnitude no one conceived of; but we haven't looked deep enough for the solution yet!

I have read several books about Saddam. Read a few and maybe you wont make such sweeping statements about someone so evil.

If no one has the guts to set up the firing squad then hand him over to the Iranians. That'll solve the problem.
