Yes, it is okay to use petroleum jelly, but please use it moderately. You may be aware that prolong use of petroleum jelly or any artificial lip-gloss / shiners / balms / sticks etc would restrict generation of the natural 'lubricant' of your lips and you would be permanently dependent on these substitutes. Better refrain using them unless it is a compelling reason. Nice grooming!

Absolutely, infact sometimes it's the least irritable to your lips and is great when your lips are chapped. If you're looking for a bit of colour simply blend the petroleum jelly with a favourite shade of eyeshadow.

Yer, its great! it really good for cracked lips, and will make your lips feel fuller. However its also nice to use a nice balm or lip gloss if going out. Just use the petroleum jelly at home or shopping but when going out its good to wear a lip gloss or lipstick

I think it is okay. I once made a flavored petroleum jelly thing for my lips, and it actually made my lips smooth and soft, especially when they were very chapped! I don't think it's bad to use.

It seems like everyone has a little tin of Vaseline which they keep in their handbag/pocket and fish out in a lip emergency. I'm the same, its always with me. Why? Well probably because its cheap, small and readily available. However, I'm going to go against the grain and say that I don't actually

Yup, I have used it for years, I havn't bought a regular tube of lip balm in probably 7 years... I love it, works better than anything else I have ever tried, even medicated stuff.

Of course! Pefectly safe unless you get it all over your pillow when you go to sleep and you had applied a lot of petroleum jelly. Then you just get messy!

Yes but don't go out without applying sunscreen over it, petroleum jelly acts just like baby oil and you'll burn.
