Yes or clean it up and go thur your programs and remove the ones you don't use often. Re formatting will help too.
Then if that doesn't work go get another one.

I'll try to answer one of your questions as if it came from someone who just doesn't want to play with us: Try to reinstall the system and install only vital programs.. And you should define what you mean by slow. Like Graphics or Hard Drive access or whatever..

try cleaning up your system first! delete all of your cookies and temporary internet files. Get rid of useless programs. Run scan disk and defrag your computer. Its amasing the difference all that makes!!!

you could still upgrade most of its parts!
for example adding memories, bigger hard drive, add the latest video card, add a cooler, and the fastest CPUs such as P4, AMD[AM2] or [FX-62]

no!! clean everything out like your cookies folder and delete useless files .. if that doesnt work get do a system clean up.. or it could be possible you have a virus so do a scan for that too.

if its running slow slap it on the butt and tell it to run faster..just tell the computer to shut up and hydrate and run your aS$ off

sometimes it's not the computer but the type of internet connection you have. I.e. modem versus cable, highspeed versus light speed etc.
