Hi, it is BETELGEUSE, and you can check this, if you watch the movie and use your freeze frame option on the DVD.
Because its actually on screen, watch his silly advert during the movie.

He spells it like the galaxy Betelgeuse, but I think Tim Burton wanted people to pronounce his film title and spelt it Beetlejuice.

Beetlejuice and Betelgeuse are both used for the Micheal Keaton character

there's no official site to check, so either
1) accept that they can be used interchangeably or
2) check with Tim Burton for the correct spelling

yes it is Beetleguise and not Beetlejuice...

the remastered version on DVD is titled BeetleJuice... as the odd spelling may have put people off.

I assume it comes from the name of a star, Betelgeuse, which (apparently) is a corruption of the Arabic "yad al jauza," which means the "hand of al-jauza," al-jauza the ancient Arabs' "Central One," a mysterious woman.
