Yes its safe. actually it is safer to use a protein supplement than not to when heavy exercising. The body burns a lot of protein when exercising and a protein supplement keeps the protein in the system better than just healthy eating.

You mean drink a protein shake while exercising? Not a good idea. You shouldn't consume anything heavy/calorific immediately before (ie: within an hour) or during intense exercise. Try it, and chances are you'll throw up.

i have to agree with twokay75. speaking from experience i threw up whilst drinking during excercise. best to take it after you finished.

ya but for best result take it after or before exercise is better to take it before exercise
