I love horror movies, and have been a fan of them for almost 20 years. My favorites are The Shining, The Amytiville Horror (the 70's original) and the new horror movie that got me was The Grudge. Damn that was freaky. I can't wait to see the sequel. I was disappointed by The Ring, and kind of liked The Saw movies. Hostel was very disappointing. The old 60's and 70's movies are much better than most new horror movies. I just can't be that scared of some CG object.

horror movies are the BEST movie genre out there!
The older horror movies seem to be best even though they didn't have the technology back then like we do now. I think its mainly because now they are seriously over-reaching.
Horror movies kick azz and I love them! My husband and I can watch them all day! Our movie collection of 600 dvd's consists of 300 horror flicks! That's half! We love em! :o)

Yep. Love it. But I hate the new trend when they make Horror movies PG-13 so that the kiddies can watch it and the movie might make a few extra bucks.. But it ruins it for the rest of us..

Oh absoulutly! I love all horror films, books, anything paranormal, I love it all. But let me tell you something. I am completly terrified of Michael Myers. No matter how many times I sit and watch the first "Halloween" film, I am completly spooked. Michael just gives me the willies!!!
