im going to a fancy dress for halloween... what can i go as?

A witch is usually real easy to be, can pick things up quite cheap. Or a ghost, just cut 2 holes in a white bed sheet! If u have a pound shop or something similar where you live pop in there and have a look.

One of the addams family (I went as Mortisha a few years ago in my long black dress and black wig). You could get some fake blood and go as 'road kill'. Otherwise, you could wrap yourself in a sheet and be either a greek goddess (if done toga style), a ghost (over the head) or Jesus (cut a hole in the sheet and put it over your head, and tie it around your waste).
Just remember that you'll have to wear the costume all night, so don't dress as something elaborate if it means you can't go to the toilet in it or sit down.

1. Sadako(from Japanese version-The Ring):
A looonnggg white dress(or use a sheet to make one),tear it a little to make it ragged and dirty looking+a LOOOONNNGG black wig/use embroidery thread or whatever to make..You can even use some cardboard to make the well or TV she climbs out from.

2. Chicken little
Rent from a shop or use fur to make the headgear and gloves,wear a tee-shirt and shirts over it,and a ducky leg boots.

My daughter went as the Tuesday(?Wednesday) Addams. Dead plain clothes, hair scraped into plaits. And we made a "Thing" from plaster of paris poured into a rubber glove, which she trailed around. Lots of white makeup with black accents.
Or go as the mother, if you want a more glamorous image.

i'm going as a cat. i bought some black material and made a tail and some white fluffy material and made cuffs and ankle bands, a white tip for the tail,and a white patch for front of black long sleeved t shirt and attached tail to black cycling shorts over black tights then got hairband and made two triangle ears from white stuff and face painted. cost £8 or zombie..black and white make-up and old clothes

you want a cheap one then go tot he bath room take a roll or bathroom tissue and wrap yourself in it from head to toe. hey presto your a mumy! or stay up late the night before don't wash or brush your hair no make up hey your a zombie both nice and cheap.... have a wicked time

Go to Asda and they sell a cats mask , gloves with cats claws (£8), if you wear a catsuit (pardon the pun) you can go as the witches cat , get a mate to go as the witch.

pirate! go to ur local pound land get an eye patch, hat and sword, put a dark foundation on for a diirty look, some dark coloured trousers and baggy long sleeved shirt few scarves and loads of jewellery...and there you have your pirate!
