Is it something inappropriate for adults? At work? Considered a big sign of weakness? I cried a few times at work, where there are mainly people from Korea, and I think it made them think less of me.

East Asians tend to hide their emotions, and not display public signes of weakness, affection, or arrogance. I do not think that they would think less of you...

Crying is an expression of sorrow or helplessless in a situation. It does help in reducing the stress. It is perfectly normal for adults to cry when emotions are intense .I dont think your Korean friends would think 'less' of you, instead they would be thinking of you as 'more human'. Rest assured. Adult men and women do cry in Asia-south, east and south east. There is a small belief in some parts of Asia that crying is not a manly act -that is 'real men' dont cry but thats just an insignificant part of Asian society, numerically and otherwise.

Hm. The races of Asia (and Europe, and Africa, and the worldwide) are a huge continuum. as quickly as you think of you have an extremely diverse "race", you may pass a border or 2 and locate a link that, via appearances, is fairly lots precisely halfway between one and the different. and often those links are wandering around unidentified, assimilated, interior the comparable community with the others. Given the obscure possibilities, if via "Southeast Asian" you mean the islanders, i could say Vietnamese are heavily greater racially comparable to East Asians.
