Because I seen girls that like rock, but they are mostly chubby and white, and I was wondering, WHY?

Hmm... I grew up listening to rock music... all the way from the classic stuff like KISS and AC/DC to harder stuff like Iron Maiden and Krokus. My daughters who are now 16 and 19 both love rock music, and they listen to a wide variety of it. Further, they are white, but they are both extremely slim. I do know that my oldest daughter has been told quite a few times that it is unusual that she listens to rock music... so... I really have no clue why girls do not like rock, because in my opinion, it is some of the greatest music of all time.

No, that's no true hey! We got this nice place in South Africa that we go to and they only play rock music. I was there one night and there was a lot of rock bands and you must see those girls and boys and I'm not chubby either! I love rock music and I'm not depressed or anything like that. I just love guitars, drums and those great voices and the crowd's the best!

all i can say is if you are gonna pop off at the mouth about something you really don't know about then you need to keep ur mouth shut. look at the link below and you tell me if this is a chubby chick! and the reason most are white is because rock is mostly white people music. but i know a hella lotta black and Mexican women that love it! so w/e and on that note goodbye!

WHERE did you get that "85%" statistic?
'Rock' encompasses a variety of sounds, by the way. Within the rock genre, something can be categorized as soft rock, pop rock, classic rock, acid rock, indie rock, etc. I think you'll find that most girls actually DO like some form of rock music.

My guess is most Rock music deals with issues and pretty girls doesn't have that much issues in their life to deal with.

becuase its too noisy and gets on to the nerves! it has been proven scientifically to cause tension and strain and aggression.
girls r more sensitive n thus like sfter, soothing music which calms down the senses.

maybe because they are depressed i think rock is just depressing music. and yea you are right about white people liking rock.
