Lets stop for a minute and think about your question... "Do illegal web sites exist?" OK, fair enough... "if so, if you entered one, do you get in trouble with the law?".... Whats wrong with this statement? If the site is illegal then wouldn't it stand to reason that the site owners would be the focus of the law and not the ignorant public who stop by? Now if there were blatant illegal involvement of behalf of both parties then sure there is a chance of getting nailed... Realistically, there are like a billion people a hour shooting hear and there in and out of sites visiting a site almost as fast as they can shut down and re host a new site... The law focuses on those sites that are more permanent. Those who teeter on the brink of right and wrong. A good example would be a site like isohunt or mininova. More hard core illegal would be like werez sites and of course child porn sites. Now those sites, u can bet your sweet *** there is a strong likelihood that both parties could be being watch and they do sometimes nail suckers who are up to that kind of crap... Don't trip because u downloaded some music or a DVD, the chances are so slim its not even worth the energy.... Use you head....

yes it is illegal but the only way an internet site can record your IP address is by you performing an action on that site (aka clicking on a link) and thats the only way that anyone (other than by looking at your browsing history, unless you cleared it) would know that your computer was connected to that internet site if you X out of it right away, it is not illegal. Some internet sites are set up so the second you click on them, they immediately download stuff, such as illegal music, spam, or programs. If you go to court on this you can plead innocent, by ignorence.

Yes they exist but are only accessible by admins and people that know they are there, its not like you are going to search yahoo or google and find one, also if you ever get across one dont think they are going to let you in, you need passwords and usernames
