It is an imitation of an external object, such as the reflection in a mirror of something.It can be a mental `picture` of a thing or person . Or it can be the persona put out by a person like a `pop` star to the public, to create a in their minds,the sort of person they would like others to think they are. But in whatever context it is used it is always artificial.

It is anything that you can see or imagine. These words are an image. Many images are perceived in different ways eg. A painting that one person will love but another will hate.

an image is a picture or drawing of someone or someting drewn on a SOLID surface...cant be drawn on Liquid or Gas
