I think it's stupid and irrelevant. For men to want to be clean, well-manicured and well-dressed has very little to do with "sexuality". If women do it, it's considered normal. So, why is it abnormal, or even worthy of labeling, for men to do the same? I'll never get THIS one... Do we think as a society that masculine men should be poorly dressed, badly groomed, and have an utter lack of interest in their personal appearance? An, conversely, that only effeminate gay men should look, smell, and behave in a neat and fashionably correct manner?
Women and sexuality have nothing to do with this. This is an issue of gender identity. "Metrosexuality" is an invention of a culture losing archaic means of defining what is masculine and what is feminine. The line is blurring, and males are arguing over the meaning of it all...

I don't think so. To me it's a nice way of telling a straight guy... I thought you were gay. OR a nice way of asking him... Are you sure you're straight? LOL! I don't use it a lot, only when a guy is questionable... not just trendy.

I am not positive but I thought if someone called themselves "metrosexual" that this means they are a man who had feminine fancies.
