he is always nagging me and yelling at me and barking orders at me.......and finds it also necessary to control my every move...I feel smothered and trapped

He is unhappy, and trying to make you miserable as well. Insist on some changes in his attitude with you. If he doesn't comply, do not stay in this relationship, you will wind up just like him, angry at the world!

You are smothered and you are trapped,so you have the right to feel like that. Hes a control freak and control freaks seems to never get enough control ,so they get worse. I feel that if you wanted to be controlled that you will still be staying with your parents.Don't let that man control you because controlling husbands end up being abusive husbands and I know that you don't want that and if you have kids, you don't want to put your kids through it

As a long-time divorce attorney, I have bad news for you. It is not likely to get better. Unless you can accept this behavior pattern, starting looking ahead to life on the other side--without him. Start to plan financially, socially, and emotionally what you will need to be satisfied, happy, and in good shape.

I think your husband harass's you because he does love you. Mine harasses and calls me every 2 min to see if I am talking to someone else's hubby so I better go not that i was welcome but only bc i am an insomniac too and up studying. I really do wish you 2 well. Good night and Sweet Dreams.

tell him if he doesn't change the way he acts about all that stuff
that he is going to loose you and if he didn't change then just dump him.
