Opem the yahoo Messenger and Click on Messenger Menu --> My Contact detail --> and edit ur name.

U can edit your current contact details:
1. Click on Messenger
2. Click on My contact details
3. U can edit the information in it.
Alternatively: U can create a profile. In this profile you can specify the details you want to be made public and subsequently u can use this profile to log on.
To create a new profile with Yahoo Messenger:
1. Click on Messenger
2. Click on My Profiles (a dialog box opens)
3. Click on Create/ edit my profiles (bottom left corner)
4. A new window (browser opens)
5. Click on create new public profile
6. Just follow the instructions, its very easy. However, be sure not to put your real name in this profile.
U can then log in using this profile, but u still have all your contacts. And u can still IM them.

click on messenger on the top left then click "my contact details"
back space where your name is and add another.

u change in your profile by editing it.

yahoo messanger? if so go to yahoo account info and change your name...
