In its literal sense it would never work. Don't you think that those who have risen up against the Man dreamed about a utopian Communist state? They read from Marx and Lenin and thought how wonderful the world would be. Yet they were mistaken because Communism (in its literal sense), relies on one principle that is completely opposite to human nature: All people are created equal and thus deserve an equal share. That is not true, nor will it ever be.

Communism has never been implemented anywhere in the World.
When poverty reigned it became a chance for the pretenders to harness this new gospel in much the same way as they did with the teachings of Christ.
His own death was motivated by the administrations greed and thereby ended the only real chance of communism.
In fact Christ is the only who could implement Communism since the rest of us would use it for our own personal reasons.
By the way I do not go to church or belong to any sect.

Neither will make everyone happy. Happiness is not a result of what kind of government system you live under or even how wealthy you are. It has to do with the choices you make. Guaranteeing people the freedom to make choices- as long as they do not interfere with the freedom of others- ought to be the primary- and really only- purpose of government. This means protection from criminals and foreign powers- not really much else.

Capitalism tends to make more people happy than does communism and the reason is greed. Capitalism allows people to grab more than their fair share of the worlds wealth and to waste it. Communism is worse in that it leads to state control of everything. Think I'll stay capitalist.

Personally I'd rather be invaded by aliens from the planet Zarg and live under the yoke of alien oppression. That way everybody on planet Earth will be treated the same.

Perhaps you could find a nice home in Cuba.
Most of us are happy with our life and freedoms. It is people like you that have contributed to tearing us down and we no longer enjoy the safety, freedom and innocence we have enjoyed for so long.
I'd like to remind you of all those who have died to preserve the freedom you are now enjoying and criticizing. What a shame! How spoiled we have become.
Please go somewhere where you can live under a dictator who will take care of you. I wish you well but leave the rest of us alone.

I think everyone would be happy if we minded our own business, and help those that need help. That means EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET. Our government seems to only help those that would benefit the government. Example: why did the government go into Iraq instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan? Why didn't the government intervene in Dalfur or Haiti when they needed help?

Unfortunately there is no system that could make everyone happy. Even if a new, fair, equitable system was found it would soon be corrupted by politicians looking after their own interests.

I can't believe that there is anyone left on the planet that thinks Communism can work. It never has, because it suppresses the human spirit.

In theory communism would work better, but only if you lobotomise everyone to remove greed, ambition etc from the human psyche.
