It depends. If it's said in a respectful way, no problem at all. If it's suggesting violence, then YES, I do have a problem with it!
By the way, just because a person is a redneck doesn't mean they don't know how to spell. One of my husband's and my closest friends is not only a redneck, he's a HICK, from a town whose whole population is about one quarter the size of the high school I went to.
And yet, I'd love to see you try to debate him. He's no dumb redneck. There are plenty of smart ones.
