What it really is. It is not, china, cuba, north korea, stalinist russia those are all state capitalist dictatorships. Not socialism!!!!
I'm talking about equal representatino for all citizens, democratci control of what is produced, ensuring that everyone gets to what they need to survive and also that they do a fair share of the work.

It's not unrealistic, it has happened in the past. At the very begining of the Russian revolution for example, or more recently in CHile

Socialism belongs in the theoretical realm, since in reality, it fails to serve it's citizens.
A doctor is paid more, - since he 'invested' more in his early years, and less people are willing to do it. Free-market dictates what the price is.
If it's not free-market, then it's some govn't bureaucrat, and all their administrative costs to 'manage' it. That's the real burden to the socialist society. - not to mention the chilling affect on innovation, - which is a key to an advanced society.

And what is the drive to succeed? I mean, people "compete" for jobs, and they go to school for that job that will support them and their family in a manner they want to grow accustom to. If everyone gets the same, no matter what, then why college? Why become a doctor, when you can get the same mowing lawns?
Notice that countries that have adopted that don't have adequate health care, don't lead the world in anything, and really don't have high education systems? It's because of the mentality of WHY.
In theory, and on paper, it may seem like the answer, but is it really? I am pretty comfortable knowing that if I go into the hospital I am going to get some of the best health care the world has to offer. If that means that I do with a little less and the surgeon gets a little more, so be it.

It is unrealistic if we go as far as communism. People are differnt, market needs change, so socialism needs to be based on caÃpitalism, but in a way that incomes aren't too extreme like today.

A dead horse which had a very short life.
Only the realistic democratic system can work in today's world That too with no double standards and hypocrisy.
Even USA needs to purify their democratic norms.

socialism is a theoretically wonderful idea that men will never be able to implement because of greed. I mean that the ones in power will never be able to accept to share money with others and so they will corrupt the system

It looks good on paper, but does not work in reality. I don't have to say it's been tried and failed miserably, ask those who have lived under it.

Socialism is great if you like being OPPRESSED. It takes away your incentive to better yourself and it stifles you with laws requiring you to conform to the party line.
