His role was to support it and it is a mistake. If the US did a Grand Jury style investigation for the case of Weapons of Mass Destruction the war would had never begun. Saddam Hussein is a murderer that deserves to die,but the war was about WMD and now the republicans say that they liberated Iraq. True but they STILL LIED. Vietnam was not about fighting communism,it was about fighting for big business especially American.

George Walker Bush stop talking of WMD after they realized that Saddam Hussein had only a poker face and nothing to back it.

If you are not old enough to recall the number of warnings from the UN, then rest assured there were 17 of them over a period of 12 years. When there was continued thumbing of the nose at the world, the last option was to do what was required.. The senate gave their approval with 90% voting in favor of invasion. That is where we got the famous blurting out by Kerry.. "I voted for it before I voted against it."

Since that time there have been so many conflicting stories, repeated so many times; too many people have accepted them as factual when in reality, they are pretty well made up.

So, as you can see.... there were a lot more people involved in the decision, other than the administration..

Bush and a few other United Nations countries decided that we needed to go to war in Iraq because of the war of terrorism. They believed that Sadam Hussien had weapons of mass destruction that was dangerous to surrounding nations and the rest of the world. Similar to the situation we are faced with now in North Korea.

Basically we were soft on Sudam after he reject the UN resolutions and kicked out the inspectors, mid 1990's

After 9-11, the USA re-evaluated it's 'soft' stance on rogue nations and decided that Iraq was a real or potential threat.

After all, he kicked out the inspectors to hide weapons... Nobody would have thought that he really did NOT have weapons.

Hind-sight is 20-20. Sadam did it to himself.

The role of Bush is to serve the Jew.
The role of Jew is to take over the world.
So the Jew must be stealth and powerful.
Needs a stupid guy to take the blame, and of course, petrol.
