No, he wont get it and if he does it's a joke.
Fabio Cannavaro, Andrea Pirlo or Marco Materazzi deserves it.

First thing I think it's pathetic to put Zidane in the list. It isn't a matter of headbutts or things like that but it's the very simple idea that he has retired. Zidane has won what he had to win but now please stop! He is out of the professional football and he didn't play much during this season with Real Madrid too. He can't get a prize for playing good just 3 matches of more than 40.
Anyway I think they want to give the Golden Ball or the FIFA World Player (or maybe both) to a French this year just like Zidane or Henry, you know how it goes they lost the WC and now they should win anything else. What could you expect of Blatter who deliberately ignored Italy and didn't present himself in the ceremony where Italy got the WC?! It's not right since one Italian player deserves that prize and since they give it to midfielders or forwards then Pirlo should get it. He was the director of our World Champions.

no why do you think that sepp blatter will make sure that an italian doesnt get it???I hope Fabio Cannavaro Gets it this year ..IF it is not Cannavaro then zidane..For only one reason..That Fabio Cannavaro played more matches than Zidane this year..And Something Else..it is because Cannavaro is the Best And the Coolest..Defender in the world

I have the feeling that the two clowns (Blatter & Platini) will do everything they can to... make sure the award will not go to any Italian or Brasilian player.
Giving the award to Zidane it will be the icing on the cake for those sore and pathetic LOSER. So... I think we all should expect another insanity gesture from those corrupted and cheaters individuals.

He has already rerceived the player of the year from FIFA, whatever be the reason.
but he doesn't deserve it.
He is just a Brutal "headbutter", and everyone knows he sucks, however he has some skills.
