If it's not rebuilt, then isn't that sort of a victory for the bad guys?

Sometimes the arrogance of Americans gets me a little upset. Yes, it was a terrible tragedy that happened on 9/11. That was over 5 years ago, I really think it's time to let go and get on with our lives.

It seems to me that the only people that need to mention 9/11 over and over again are the W supporters because that is the only rational reason they have left to defend him.

The current administration can't wait to rebuild Iraq where thousands upon thousands of Iraqi civilians lost their lives. Not to mention the ever growing amount of US service members(which has surpassed the number of 9/11 victims).

If we made a shrine out of every site where a travesty had taken place we would have nowhere to live or work.

I don't have a problem with a building on Ground Zero. I would like to see an even grander skyscraper than the twin towers.

Terrorists would love a monument to their deed.

The most important thing is all the ppl in the world remember such day that human can be good. Thus ground Zero should be a place where ppl come together to remember such spirit.

It is Ok to build - but the wrong people are doing it. The whole Project should have been assigned to Donald Trump.

I don't think they should, but it's money lost for New York if they don't. And that's all they're thinking about.
