Marvel has the most powerfull heroes. Especially now that it has sentry.
Sentry and Iron Man could probably single-handedly take out the entire DC universe.
Unless of course the DC writers "pull a superman" (Ie: give them "new" powers or stronger powers because they "try harder" in order to overcome thier current enemy- but thats not really a power, that is just crap storytelling on the part of DC).
The ninja turtles aren't even a factor. They would have problems with the weakest heroes from both universes. Aunt may and alfred could easily whip them by themselves.

Well lets see. Although i hate to say it because you used the word HEROES the only correct answer is DC. I am not a superman fan but he is by far the most powerful hero in any comic. but if we drop the word hero and insert character then marvel wins. Noone can beat Korvac short of the Beyonder. both with omnipotent powers and both are Marvel. And technically Dark phoenix isn't a hero but she is much more powerful then superman. With the word heroes though theres really no arguing that Superman is more powerful then anyone including the hulk. hypersonic speed laser vision and imperv ious to all damadge. >< god do i hate him. Apparently do to the new storey line he is no longer effected by magic or kryptonite either.

Curiously, while DC gets bashed for having heroes too powerful, Marvel has VILLAINS who are ridiculously powerful: Beyonder, Dark Phoenix, Impossible Man, Trickster, Thanos...
But, sticking w/ heroes:
DC- Green Lantern/Parallax. Re-started history, clearly a cosmic scale being.
Spectre- Most powerful of Magic beings, also powerful physically. Has held worlds apart.
Marvel- Franklin Richards- Created own universe.
Phoenix- Could do nearly anything.
Both are cosmic scale.
And guess what...THEY ALL SUCK. At this level of power, there are too many "What If's?" What if Parallax cured the ills of the world? What if Phoenix took away Magneto's power and every other villains? etc, etc.
Spectre is held in check b/c he's the "Hand of God", and this works w/ some stories...clearly there are mysteries in life.
He gets my vote, b/c all the others reek.

Great Question. You aren't comparing the Universes but wondering who is the Most Powerful from each one.
DC - I would have to say Batman. I am sure he was studied every other hero and developed a strategy to kill all of them if necessary. Actually I think he did do that. Yes in JLA: Tower of Babel.
Marvel - Franklin Richards is a mutant with vast psionic powers. His abilities are so great that he can create "pocket" universes in alternate realities. (A "pocket" universe is a cosmos that does not equal our own in size.)
And TMNT...Leonardo is the most powerful because he uses is brain and brawn.

DC has Superman, Batman; Marvel the Xmen, Spiderman; it seems like they both have powerful characters, but it seems like Marvel may be more ecclectic and have more complex people to work with...not better or worse, just different. Could they ever get along and make a movie together?

Alright, people try to give me **** for this but THE INCREDIBLE HULK is the most powerful S.O.B. in either universe. He possesses nigh invulnerability and when he is injured he has a healing ability that may rival Wolverine's. He's been to space and re-entered Earth's atmosphere unprotected and just regenerated the burned flesh. He can see specters and ghosts. His strength is immeasurable and grows with his anger i.e. potentially unlimited strength.

to discover the main powerful u prefer a three way combat between Superman(DC) and Sentry and Thor (the two marvel). they are the toughest in all superherodom and the winner could maximum actual be the main powerful. for my area, i think of it extremely is Thor, in basic terms in basic terms although.
