After reading some answers, I noticed that most were opinions and had nothing to do with the question.
So I ask, "Has answers turned into opinions"

A large portion has always been opinions. You have to think though, half of the questions on here aren't really thought out, a large majority are jokes and for most on here it is more like a game to see who can get to the next level.

Most of the time, yes, because the questions asked can only be answered with your opinion. Example: the question below yours can only be answered with an opinion, not a fact, because people wouldn't agree if the correct answer was yes or no.

That will depend greatly on the question. I thought the same till I really started paying attention to the questions. Some of the questions are put out there asking for more of an opinion-based response.

No, it depends on the questions you are asking. This question that you just asked is based mainly on opinions, but say for instance you go into the HW help catagory and you'll find a math problem, there will be a definite answers in there, no opinions.

It depends on the section. In "Polls and Surveys", most of the questions are opinion oriented. Whereas in, say, science, there can only be right or wrong answers. But that's just my opinion.

Most answers or opinions.A lot of questions I see you have to give an opinion.We all know 5+5=10.But how can I answer this question with a fact?It can't be done,so I just gave my opinion.

for many questions, there is greater suitable than one answer. and a good style of cases, thankfully, for people who could discover dullness in having solutions to maximum questions (relating existence or afterlife), the questions proceed and "shown" solutions are by no ability desperate. yet whilst an opinion will become the "appropriate" answer, it rather is frequently because of the fact it rather is a properly formed opinion and correctly argued.

It has to depend on the question doesn't it. And the category too, Polls & Surveys is only opinions. Mathematics (hopefully) is answers.
Like this one: it is my opinion that yes (most of the time) answers is opinions.
