Ah...I mean that both parties don't represent us and that the views of the ruling class are pushed on us.

I'd vote for different people.

Of course, the signers of the Declaration of Independence made it clear that, in their opinion, if the government did not have the best interests of the people in mind, the people are not only JUSTIFIED to rebel, they are REQUIRED to do it.

With the very limited exception of direct democracy, which hasn't worked on a national scale for 2500 years or so, there is no government that does a good job representing the "people". Our current representative republic is the closest example in place today, but it is still seriously flawed when it comes to representing the "common man". In the end, we must still trust someone to do our bidding in government structure, and there is no real way to control them once we've selected them, especially when they are being bribed left and right by special interests to do just the opposite.

Jefferson's "of the people, by the people, for the people" government never existed in America and he'd be the first to admit it...

Don't even go there . Clinton didn't ; and you didn't do a thing when Sandy Berger was stealing classified documents for Clinton & destroying them ; or when Clinton sold nukes to North Korea -or compromised national security by using White House telephones for phone s*x with Monica Lewinsky on unsecured lines . The list goes on into the 2nd Tuesday of next week .The people were never represented during the Clinton years . But all it took to make some people happy was a wave from the Clinton clown with a cheesburger in his mouth in front of Mc Donalds' and that made him a good ol' boy .

The government doesn't represent the people because Bush and other presidents are elected ONLY by THIS secret and evil group that's been in control of everything for far too long!...

If it became obvious? It is obvious that our goverment does not represent the people. We need a total and absolute new government and senate.

There would have to be a movement so large that Washington actually started to listen to the people who voted them into office. With voter participation under 50% (?), I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Are you talking about all those who voted in favor of amnesty for illegals and also against making English the official language of the USA? This despite the wishes of their constituents?
I wouldn't mind if they were all hanged for treason.
