Unreason is defined and can never change. America is always changing, and although currently is not making great decisions at the government level, there is potential for something better, and change can happen. Because unreason will always be inferior to reason, and because America has the potential to be something really great, I choose America.

As someone who teaches logic, I could not help but be struck by the irony in your question.
You see, one common type of fallacy (error in reasoning) is either/or thinking -- assuming that there are only two choices. Usually there are more, and the assumption that the two are mutually exclusive usually falls apart on close scrutiny, too.
So you yourself have chosen unreason, simply by using either/or reasoning in your question.
I somehow suspect that you meant to pick America, however, which just goes to show you that the two are not contradictory.
