You may be ovulating, sometimes that causes a little cramping. It shouldn't last long though. If it persists for a few days, you should see your doctor.

Depending on how severe the pain is, I would recommend that you get to a doctor immediately. There are many causes of stomach pain. If you are experiencing a sharp stabbing pain, it may be gallstones. If it is gallstones, the pain will be pretty much intolerable, to the point that you may think you are dying, although gallstones are not life threatening. Other possibiliteis are acid reflux, hernia etc. Or if it is time for your period, you may be experiencing early cramping. Sometimes a woman will get cramps a couple of days to a week before she starts her period. You can take some ibuprofen and see if that helps. If you have any reason to believe you are pregnant, then definitey take a pregnancy test and follow up with a doctor.

I am having the same problems, too, and I know I am not pregnant because I just had a baby 2.5 months ago, do not have gallstones, and have no idea what is causing it! Sorry, I know that is not very helpful, I am sure, but wanted to let you know that you aren't the only one. I actually think it is just hormones going crazy in me.

Go see your doctor. Especially if this is not normal. If something hurts, there is a reason. You may have contracted an STD or having a miscarriage or have a tumor... etc etc. It could also just be stress. However why not just be safe and see your gyn...
