1) Keep the youth, kids, etc. away from material they do not need to be seeing
2)Let the adults talk about adult things

Yes, and I think Yahoo! will have a language filter for questionable
words like swear words, racial slurs, and other potty mouth language. Well, you probably get the idea by now. They used to have Adult Chat Rooms in Yahoo! when they operated chatrooms, so why not an 18 and over section? That's a good idea you came up with.

No. Regulating content is easier than trying to determine age of the Q&A poster.
Plus, if there was a under age 18 section I think it would defeat the purpose of some kids getting some good advice from their elders. Up to them to choose good over bad advice...but it's there and they read it and it sticks and some younguns may have decent advice for some of the immature adults. ;)
