What if someone was to capture a bird with bird flu. Cultivate the virus in a egg. Suject this cultured egg to minute doses of all sorts of interferons and antiviral medications till the virus is resistant to all medications. Of course them allready being immune to the vires Subject this virus to some chickens and then invite kim jong-il for a political dinner. Then about three days kim jong-il should have taken his last ****.Then continue to talk to some one else

How do you know the plans have'nt been made? :) If not to kill him then certainly to try to remove him from power. Its difficult though, North Korea is a closed society, very difficult to destabilise a closed society, where the rulers have power over the media and public opinion.

It would be a violation of U.S. law to assassinate a foreign leader, even if it were done by clandestine means.
If it were done it would be more difficult to conceal than you think.
It is also very possible that whoever succeeds him might be worse.
