I was an army medic and I know the damage that can be done to the human body but have to admit I have no idea why we are getting people killed and maimed so far from home "War on terror" all war is terror and being a western nation does not make what your military can unleash right or justifiable

We went to war based on lies... many innocent service men/women as well as innocent individuals have died. The blair/bush coalition must take this responsibility. Even the the military leaders are now saying we must get out.

All the UK and US have done is make a bad situation worse. Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror and everything to do with oil.

no i agree they shouldn't be there it was an American thing i know terrorism is a world wide affair and it was not aimed at use we (English )fought the IRA were was the American stance on this no help and they were funding (Americans)the IRA we poked our noses in and now we are suffering and involved the the conflict so we have to stay there Dave

I think its also time to bring the troops home.... There were over 2,000 Iraqi civilians killed by insurgent attacks.. One would have to believe they would be better off if we were not such a force and were giving them humanity aid instead.

No, it would be terrible. You shouldn't have gone there, but now the turmoil is too big in Iraq, soldiers must stay there to keep order.

yer out of iraq not any other country as we r now seeing to many muslims trying to blow them selfs up over here we should be trying to stop them not fight for oil.

If we pull out, the terrorists will think that they have won.
Al Qaeda will get tens of thousands of new recruits, and they will get increasingly bold.
