drink really is not the answer, my ex partner always had bad dreams and most of the time it was because he crashed cos he was so drunk that your body doesnt actually sleep properly. he got so bad he started to freak out. Give up the drink( easier said than done, i no but please try)

Maybe there is something in your life you are not willing to face up to and it is working its way through your subconscious. What is happening in the dream just before you wake up? Or another meaning could be something is happening to you when you are sleeping like a muscle spasm/heart problem and that's what waking you up, but your mind is working the pain into your dreaming. I don't know pal but stay off the daybreak Kestrel.....that really canny be helping. Try a long walk a few hours before you go to bed and a glass of milk. Just a suggestion, it may sound pathetic to some but I guarantee you will at least give yourself the best chance of a good sleep and maybe working out what is happening with you. All the best.

Perhaps the Kestral at 0630hrs in the morning is not helping, it makes me wonder if you are sound in mind. I have been at work now for two hours, I dread to think what time you start work assuming you have a job.

alcoholism affects the brain in many ways and scizhophrenia is one of those effects. You really don't want to be going down the Gazza/Best route if you want a happy life.

I think you should listen carefully to what your subconscious told you in your dream. Obviously there's something not quite right, and in all likelihood that pain was real and it woke you up from your semi-drunken state.

do something that will relax you. read a book or watch some comedy tv or what ever you blokes do in your flats(ok, sorry) but seriously, it was still just a dream, whether you are a little kid or a big guy, dreams can scare you but that's it
