My babies all had that too. My doctor told me that its wasn't a birth mark because they go away that it was a stork bite. He said it was caused by a meeting of small blood vessels that would eventually go away.

Is it a red looking clump? My little girl had one on her back and it scared me to death, but then my sister in law (who's a nurse said) oh she's got a strawberry patch and I stopped fraking out. After all how can something sooo cute sounding be bad? It turns out there was nothing to worry about, it will fade away (if that's what it is) in about 2 years or so. Don't freak out it's bad when it changes for the worse.

As everyone else has said, probably a birthmark hun.
Best to have it checked by a doctor though if you are worried that it might be something else. Rather set your own mind at ease and know for sure.
