those questions are somewhat similar to yours and u could find out most of the people in this particular section of Yahoo!Answers do love anime. but of course they are also those who dont like it... anyway, everybody has the right to their own preferences.
as for my personal fav i would choose Spirited Away, Grave of the fireflies, Howl's moving castle, Bleach, Fruits Basket, Samurai Champloo, Onepiece, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Naruto, Midori no Hibi, Ghost in the Shell, Fullmetal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, Chobit, School Rumble, Samurai Seven, Peacemaker Kurogane, Ouran High School Host Club.. and that's just to name a few.

The animes that I like watching are Naruto, The Law of Ueki, R.O.D. the TV, Yakitate Japan, Full Metal Alchemist, Alice Academy, Vision of Escaflowne. But if I'll be listing the animes that I liked since I was a little kid, it will be a lot. But anyway, here it is. Shaman King, Magical Doremi, Ayashi no Ceres, Fushigi Yuugi, Detective Conan, etc.

I love anime!! I USED to like Disney animation and was then introduced to anime about 7 years ago. After a short period of adjustment (the cultural differences), I was soon hooked and then it was so long Disney!!
Though I enjoyed some of the Disney movies, I never got the thrills like I get watching anime.....the sadness of Grave of the Fireflies and the horror of discovering what Eva Unit 01 was in Neon Genesis Evangelion, just to name a few. I have had so many strong emotional moments watching anime and I love it.
My favorites include anything by Studio Ghibli, Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, the Ghost in the Shell franchise, the Tenchi Muyo francise, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Rahxephon, Mai Him, Ranma....and the list keeps growing!

Some not all, its well known among some of our peers that I am a Naruto - HATER,...
I'm old school, in that I prefer well written and conceived anime.
Even though the concept is mainly fantasy, in all forms of anime. The viability of the characters and storyline has to be reasonable to exist if certain "consistencies" were constant in maintaining continuity in a story.
But understandably, everyone has their own favorites.
Its ironic, that a lot of people here in the states can't seem to appreciate that Anime is for all ages, not just for kids.
Since in Japan, it IS made for all ages.

I love watching japanese anime.. I love Ayashi no Ceres, naruto, full metal alchemist, and magic knight rayearth.. I love anime because they create a vision or a great imaginative reality..i feel great when I watch them..

I do! Old school (Mazinger Z, Voltron, Speed Racer) and New School (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Naruto, Bleach). I also like every forms of animation, so I am more open-minded.

I like the first season of Japanese Anime. But then they just supposedly get stronger and all their enemies get stronger so its like they never get stronger. Another things that I dislike are the fights that take up 2-10 episodes. I mean how long doesn't it ****ing take to Kamehahmeha Freeza into oblivion... oh i know 1 whole season.

I love Yu Yu Hakusho!!! My favorite person is Kurama, I was so sad when it ended, and when cartoon network took it off the air.

I wish they would animate another Cowboy Bebop series or movie. But im not a big fan of all anime.
