So I watched an episode the other day because my stepsister was over, and audience members practically fainted and yelled and cried when the show began. Oprah would say "Hello", and everyone would just die of laughter and cry because she greeted them...literally. Just curious.

I think she's ridiculous and conceited. But hey...that's what money does I guess. The episode I watched, she was bragging about driving downtown Chicago one day. For 10 seconds, she was trying to recall which car she drove, what mercedes model it was, and if it was the convertible one. She also became EXTREMELY surprised when she found out that to have a Costco membership card, you had to pay. As for Michael Moore wanting her to run as president...what a moron!!

Because she's the world's ultimate ash-kisser, still acting like the poor little fat girl trying to buy friendships and love. Everyone in the audience is hoping she'll give them a car.
And remember, not *everyone* treats Oprah like royalty.
Tom Cruise treats her furniture like junk.

It's only because we couldn't find you and worship the ground you walk on. Please forgive us your majesty, for we're not worthy to roam around your message board. And after you watched just one episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, you have every right to vocally pimp slap her. For it was you who has used your platform for good and peace in this world.
All joking aside, Oprah is the American dream. She has also shed light and exposed so many good and bad things that are going on in this world. There are so many things about our own lives and health that we may not have ever known had she never had the guts to talk about it on her show. A lot of men and women learn from her mistakes and triumphs. For those who can't stand her, great. But don't you think it's hard not to like someone you've never met? Most people would just call that ignorance (or jealousy).

Oprah has risen from the ranks with nothing only to become the richest women in America. In 2005 she net a self worth not including her magazine of over 150 million dollars.
She has been doing the show for over 20 years.You do the math. It is a shame it is the money that makes her a goddess but then again when hasnt money been the most important thing in America.

I USED to really like Oprah, she was goofy, sentimental, informative, and fun to watch. But, now, she thinks every word out of her mouth is golden. She may be rich, but who the heck is she to sit there and give parental advice never having a child? How can she talk so much about marriages when she's never experienced it? She thinks she's enlightening the world about spirituality, when most of us already had it. She just got too rich and began to assume she must be God. I'm over her.

dude...oprah has created an empire. literally. her magazine, her charities, her book club, and everyone she promots becomes successful.
and i don't like how everyone tiptoes around her either. its so funny how people talk to her all scared because they are afraid she is gonna have a hissy fit. she started out good and the last couple of years the fame and money finally got to her. she's untouchable now. only gail can make fun of that woman. and not too often if you watched the trip they had together. even gail is afraid of her!

I think that her show is too dramatic. Exaggarate everything. Moreover, do you think that her opinion is useful?? Her opinion is just something what you and I can talk everyday. Really a rubbish show.
One thing i don't deny is that her marketing skill is near perfect. That's why she's been really rich now.

I don't think Oprah is a goddess. I think she is a pious, know it all who LOVES getting that kind of attention. I also think she is a racist and the more power she gets the more white people she can slander.
By the away there CAN be black racists.
I am not a racist posting this.
Just seeing the facts that are right in front of our faces no matter what color we are.

Her show is lame and so is she. u should have seen the episode where she had the most successful women or whatever. i think it is hilarious that the only white person on that show was john travolta (who also has a screw or two loose). so obviously only black women can be successful...junk!

One of the richest people in the world, has given cars and trips to her audience, plus an awesome woman, God bless her and the hummer she rode in on. AKA Decent person.
